HEAD & NECK ANATOMY
The branch of medical science that involves the study, identification, description and function of the structures in the head and neck.
Study of the head and neck includes the base of skull and facial bones, sinuses, orbits, salivary glands, oral cavity, oropharynx, larynx, thyroid, facial and neck musculature and lymph nodes draining these areas along with innervation and blood supply to all areas of the head and neck.
