How To Maintain Good Oral Hygiene

Use a dental floss to remove particles of food and plaque caught between the teeth and under the gum.

Try using floss picks to remove stubborn food debris and plaque from hard to reach areas in the mouth.

Eat more healthy food for example fruits and vegetables, food with no sugar to promote dental and general health.

Drink more water to help dilute acids in the mouth and keep the oral tissues hydrated.

Use mouthwash with fluoride and no alcohol.

Brush the teeth at least twice daily especially before going to bed.

Get a professional dental cleaning every 3-6 months depending on your overall dental health status.

Limit sugary food and drink

No smoking
-
No tobacco chewing

Use sugar free chewing gum

Limit alcohol drinking

Use fluoride toothpaste

Clean the tongue with a tongue scraper or tongue cleaner.

Use a bridge aid to clean beneath dental bridges

Use plastic instruments to clean around dental implants

Use a waterpik to flush debris and dental plaque from beneath bridges, around dental implants, crowns, orthodontic appliances and from spaces between teeth.

Use proper denture and retainer cleaners.
Use the correct size proxabrush to clean around orthodontic appliances and between teeth.
Keep your teeth and gum healthy with lots of fruits & water
